SAAPT, a chapter of the International Association of Psychological Type, provides a support network and educational forum for learning and sharing best practices related to type and type theory.

We are the contact point for Psychological Type users in the province of Alberta.

The Southern Alberta Association for Psychological Type is a member-based organization lead by this team of member volunteers.

President – Leah Eggen (ESTJ)

Leah is a human resources professional with over 12 years experience in succession planning, performance management, learning and development programs, facilitation, talent assessment and coaching.  She has used Myers Briggs when doing team effectiveness, leadership development and recruitment.

President Elect – Devra Yanke

Devra has over 20 years experience in working as both an internal resource and external consultant to private and public business including energy resources, utilities, and agricultural industries.  She has been qualified in Type and a member of SAAPT since 2008.   Clients value Devra’s high-involvement, high-energy consultations and workshops, using Type to help build linkages to business issues and priorities, enhanced leadership competencies and improved work performance.

Past President – Heather Pallas (ENTP)

Heather has been involved in Type and active with SAAPT since 2005. Heather applies type in all areas of her business of executive coaching, facilitation and training. She applies type when working with individuals in a coaching capacity or to provide team building and learning. Heather is a life long learner who continues to expand her knowledge and understanding of Type.

Treasurer – Lorraine Bauer (ENFP)

Lorraine has completed one year as Treasurer and is looking forward to her second.  She is a stay-at-home mom and works part-time as a substitute teacher.  Lorraine would like to finish her MA in Leadership at RRU but life keeps getting in the way…this year she is off to India with her family and is planning many more memories… Lorraine is so happy to be working with such a diverse group at the SAAPT as the learning curve continues.

Membership Director – Jan Regehr (ESFJ)

Jan and her husband have their own business called Envisica Inc. located in Cochrane. Envisica provides leadership coaching, course development and training (e-training for sales), organizational development, change management strategy, and team building. Jan works in the area of team building called Face To Face utilizing Myers Briggs and other team building activities. She also has a counselling background, and works with Victim Services at the Cochrane RCMP detachment as a victim advocate.
